My Prayer

Lord God and Heavenly Father, I praised your holy name. Thank you for the many blessings you give us each and every day. Lord forgive us when we grumble and complain about the little things in life that really don’t matter, we are so very simple minded and need your love and mercy to get through each and every day. I know it’s Friday morning, but I wanted to take just a moment to circle with my sisters to pray. I have been just so busy the past couple of weeks that Thursday completely slips away from me before I realize that I have not prayed with my sisters. I know that you each my many prays every day as I utter them to you, but the feeling that I get when you allow us to pray together is just that much more comforting. Lord I just want to lift up my sisters at WFBC and each member of their families. I thank you for putting these women in my life. Lord be with Todd as he brings the message this Sunday and help each of us to have an open heart and mind to your message. Forgive us where and when we fail you Lord. Be with Greg as he continues to look for a job and help him to not get discouraged. Lord help us to accept what you have for our lives, if that means that we loose the car and have only one vehicle, help us to continue to serve you and go on with our lives. I ask these things in Jesus precious name. AMEN

Good Morning Lord

You have been so good to me, and I just praise your Holy name.

God be glorified in me today.  Father I come this morning in prayer for my church family. Let us not take each other for granted, nor forsake the assembling of ourselves together.  I know that I need them and that I would be lost without them.  They encourage me to press on, and I hope I encourage them.  We need each other. So I pray that you would bless us, and draw us ever closer to you, and to each other. I ask a double portion of blessing on my Pastor and his family.  Watch over the Freeman family on vacation, and bring them safely home. Continue to help me on my job to deal with the stress in a positive way and not thru complaining, so that I not become disqualified.  Be near me father at all times.

Father in Heaven, thank you for your Word. Thank you for revealing yourself to us. May we never cease to glory in you alone. I pray with David in his psalm:

 

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. (ps 27:4)

 

Teach us to dwell with you; teach us to inquire after your truth and wisdom and knowledge.

 

It is because of your mercy granted to me that I pray in Your Son's name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you so much for the much needed rain.  It was so refreshing to wake up to that wonderful sound.  Thank you, thank you.  I feel so thankful in my heart this morning.  I have such special boys.  I praise you for their lives.  Bless them Lord each day as they move about in their surroundings.  Help them to be a light in their schools.  Help others to see Jesus thru them.  They may not always speak your name but help them to be strong Christian men as they learn and grow in you. It is so hard to be involved in a world that does not know you as Lord.  Thank you for my salvation.  My personal salvation.  I get so emotional and overwhelmed when I think about my personal salvation and relationship with a Holy God.  Thank you, thank you.  I praise you for the work you are constantly doing in our lives and the lives of those in our church.  I pray for my husband today.  Thank you for such a loving husband.  He has such a servants heart and I praise you for it.  Thank you for placing him as head of our household.  Keep him strong and wise as he seeks your face.  I love you Lord.  Keep us in your mighty hands.  That is such a peaceful thought.

Good Morning Lord

Lord I come this morning knowing I have been disobedient and ungrateful for your many blessings.

I come asking for your help, for you are the only help I know, the only one that can tame my tongue.

The stress at work has turned me into a grumbler and complainer, and as the workload increases and

the rewards are not there, the more complaining I do.  I don’t like what I’ve become. Help me Lord

to remember why I’m here, in this place, at this time, that’s it’s for Your Glory and not mine, and I should look

to you for my reward, and not to man. I thank you, and I love you!!

Praise the Lord

Father God,

 

I just want to thank you for healing my Father-in-law. He and all his loved ones have been through so much through his hospitalization and previous weeks of suffering; but Lord, you have been with the Borras family and we thank you. Thank for our pastor and his beautiful family and the love they extend to us all and, particularly our Papi. His faith has strengthened through this ordeal and we all feel tremendous relief. Thank you God for Waco Family Baptist for the loving family they are. Father, I pray that you will help our little church with the financial concerns. I pray that you will convict us all if we are not giving as we should. And if we can't, Lord please multiply what is given and don't let money be the reason we can no longer be a congregation. We love Todd and his family and each other and desire that we grow and serve you according to your will. I trust you for our future and ask all in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

I come to you this morning praising you Holy name!

You be glorified thru me today.  Father on my heart this morning, are my children. They are so far away from you Lord!  They don’t know how good you are, or realize how good you’ve been to them!! I pray for their salvation. Draw them to you, save their souls.  I pray that it would be done quickly so that they may know of your goodness now!!! Never the less, your will be done.  Thank you for your word, I thank you that I can come to you with the desires of my heart and you hear me! I love you. Be merciful to me oh God, a sinner saved by your Grace.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father

  How many blessing you give us. How often we take them for granted. May it never be Lord. May we always remember those blessing. Father for the breath you give us. The homes we get to live in. The food we get to eat. The families we get to cherish. Lord so many to name, yet so easy to forget. Father thank you for sending new people to your church. May they come to be apart of us and not come to cause a division. May we count them as a blessing. Lord thank you for the church building that you provide. I pray that it continues to go well with the SDA. Father be with our pastor and lead him in your ways. May he never try to lead in his own might but Lord that Todd would always seek ye first in everything. Be with Brent Lord as he also leads our church. May he also lead under your direction and never his own. Thank you for the servants heart you have given Brent. This is truly a blessing to our church.

Lord I pray you would be with those that are ill from either physical sickness or just heart sickness. So many to list FAther but you know them by name. May you be there great physician. Heal them Lord if it be your will.

 

Lord I pray that you would be with our girls sleepover. May we open the girls eyes to things that are leading them further into this world. Give Tess the words to say Lord. May they be yours and not hers. Close our mouths where need be. May we focus on the important. I pray the girls would be willing to share and willing to hear. God just grant us favor in this matter. May these young girls learn that there is So Much More than this world has to offer.

 

I pray you would be with our services on Sunday may the words that we sing and word that are preached be a time of worship to you Lord. May all that we do glorify you. Never ourselves but only you Lord.

Dear Lord, My heart is burdened today for the Reyes family.  Satan is so evil and will stop at nothing to destroy families.  My eyes well up with tears as I pray for them.  I pray for Tim today.  I am reminded of your word that says resist the Devil and he will flee from you.  Please keep us resisting day by day. Moment by moment. Satan makes it seem that a little "bad" is not a big deal.  Open Tim's eyes to the evil that is very real in his life.  Give him the strength to resist.  Help his feet to flee.  Do whatever is necessary to bring him back to you.  Your grace is more than I can understand but I love you for this amazing grace.  I pray that Tim will be so unhappy and uncomfortable that he will know that there will be no peace in a life apart from you.  I pray for Jennifer, Lord.   Give her the strength to be the Godly mother that their children need.  Cover her with your mercy.  Wrap your loving and comforting arms around her.  I pray for Jacob and Ethan.  Such beautiful boys.  Help us as a church to love them and do for them anything that we can.  Thank you Lord for our church.  Help us to stay united in our understanding of your word.  Thank you for showing me daily how I have to depend on your promises of hope.  I pray in Jesus name. Dear Lord I praise your Holy Name. Thank you for the many blessings you shower on us each an every day. Even though we think our lives are in such turmoil, we know that you and you alone know the plan for our lives. Help us to use every day to build ourselves a closer body for you. Thank you for my church family, lift each and every member of every household represented by the people of WFBC. Help them to know they are loved and cared for. Thank you for what you are doing in our church, bringing in new members to do your work and new visitors for us to minister to. Lord God you are amazing in the works you are doing with this body (WFBC). Lord you know the financial status of our family and I know that you have plans for us, help us to be patient and learn from what you have in store for us. Be with those who have lost loved ones, comfort them and place your loving hand upon them. Be with those that are traveling during this summer season, help them to have safe trips and bring them back into our fold. Put your protective hand over my husband, children and grandchildren as they go through out their days. Lift them up, touch them so that they know you are with them, continue to draw them to you so they in turn will seek after you. I pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
