Blessings!

Heavenly Father, You are gracious and compassionate.  You are always right, full of wisdom, and power. You are good.  Thank You for Your love and Your truth. Thank You for family and friends that can we share in the riches of that love.  Thank You for providing for Your people, showing us the way, and filling us to where we are overflowing with joy and love.   Father, work in us with Your Holy Spirit that we can overflow into others' lives and that we will be blessings to everyone we come in contact with.  Please remind us that You alone are deserving of glory, to You be the praise, and honor.  May we always remember to be thankful for the Righteousness that is Yours which You have given to us along  with the great inheritance with Your Son, and deliverance "from the power of the darkness" and forgivness of sins.  Thank You for Your Son, our Messiah and Lord. It is in His great name I pray.
Amen

Lord God

I lean and depend on you alone for you are my hope and my stay.

3 Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident.

4 One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of  Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple.

5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion: In the cover of his tabernacle will he hide me; He will lift me up upon a rock.    Psalm 27:3-5

I await your instructions

Prayer 8/12/11

Heavenly Father,

You are our most gracious, and only Heavenly Father.  Thank you for all of the blessings you have given us.  We thank you for all of the big blessings that we acknowlegde frequently, and Father, we thank you for all of the small ones that we often take for granted.  Thank you for ALL of your gifts, these gifts that don't belong to us, but to You, for all is Yours.  Of all the gifts You have given us, we thank You most for the gift of Your Son.  Please reveal to us the sin in our lives through Your Holy Spirit that we may flee from it, and return to You.  We need You in our lives everday, we need to seek You everyday.  Mighty God, please work in all of our hearts at Waco Family.  We are nothing without You, and we can do nothing without You.  Give us hearts of flesh, hearts of clay, so that You may mold our hearts into the likeness of Your Son's.  Father, please convict us to get into Your Word everyday, and give us the courage and wisdom to speak Your truth.  Father God, we need Your Divine blessing to interpret Your word, so show us Your Truth and guard our hearts and minds from the lies and deceit that this world has.  Please, work in the hearts of the families in WFBC, and work in the leaders' hearts of those families that they may continue to develop the skills necessary to lead their families wisely in all spheres of their lives - especially spiritually.  We need you to give them the courage and wisdom to approach those members and to set standards.  Please, show them, for none of us can do it effectually on our own.  We thank You for families, and friends.  Father, the church can not reach it's potential until every member does their part, so please help those leaders encourage each member to use the gifts that You have provided for Your Glory.  Gracious Father, thank You for the time You have povided us to meet together, and thank You for working in our lives.  We can not possibly thank You enough for Your wonderful works, and mercies, and justice, and truth.  We thank You for all You have provided us.  We thank You, and we love You.  Help us to love You more everyday.  And we pray this all in Your Son's most holy, and precious name.
Amen

Dear LORD,

I love the way you work in believers lives to draw us back to you. How you weave the hearts of those that love you to come back to you on bended knees and humbled hearts. Thank you God for Jill and for Tess. I see you in them so clearly! Bless all that we try to accomplish for your names sake, and if it is not what you would have us do, close those doors. In our families LORD, heal, deliver, and set free those in bondage and headed for eternal separation from you. Let us get serious about sharing your word, and help us to be deliberate about it. As we take in each breath you give us, let us breath out your praises. My cup overflows this morning realizing how good you have been to me. Thank you for loving me, even when I'm unlovable. A special prayer for my son Jeffrey. I don't know what to do. Do I let him go or do I hold on tight? All I do know to do is pray. So I come to you, my King for strength and guidance, humbled and surrendered to you. Incline your ear to me, and answer. I await your instruction!!

My Savior and My God
Amen

Women of WFBC

Father,
Thank you that you are a God who does not leave. You are a God who never changes. You are a God whose mercies are never ending. You are a God how is steadfast in His love for His children. You are a God who saves. You are a God who unites. You are God. We live because you have given us life. We love because you first loved us. We see because you gave us sight.

Father, I pray for the women of Waco Family. Cleanse our hearts Lord. We stand clothed in Christ's righteousness. We approach your throne with boldness and thanksgiving because of His blood alone. But we know, Father, that our feet are dirty, our hearts are calloused, and we wonder away from your presence. Cleanse our feet, Lord. Soften our hears, I beg of you. Pour cement in our feet so we do not leave you!

I ask for a revival in my heart and a revival among the women of WF.  I ask for a renewed love and strength for you and in you. I ask this so we can more readily be your hands and feet in WF and among our families. May we be like minded and focused on you.

Father, for your glory and for our good I ask these things.
To further Your kingdom, I ask these things.

In Your Son's name, alone I pray.
Amen

Dear LORD,

I come this morning drained and tired, and just needing your assurance that you hear me.

I feel so lost today, I feel so far away from you.  And I hate that because I love your counsel.

Restore me today.  Hold me, draw me near. I need your help.  Strengthen me in the areas I am weakest.

You are my refuge, so I come falling at your feet. You know my needs, and you know the desires of my heart, so I’ll just lay them at your feet. Bless my church family.  I am in awe of what you are doing there.  Open the eyes of the unbelievers at Waco Family.  Draw Michael to you.  Save him.

In Jesus Name

Amen

Father

Thank you for your provision for me today.  Thank you for the beautiful day you have created.  I will rejoice and be glad in it.  Thank you for your grace and your mercy.  For not giving me what I deserve, but showering me with your grace and your love! I come this morning asking you to watch over Jay’tun this weekend while he’s with Krystal’s mother.  Be glorified in this situation somehow.  I love you LORD, I surrender all my stuff to you, and I leave it at your feet. Your will be done, not mine. Be with Debbie and her family as they mourn the loss of her grandmother.  Bless all my church family.  Bless the Jeffrey Place ministry this weekend and our Girl Talk weekend as well.  Thank you for all you are doing at Waco Family.  Draw us closer to each other and closer to the cross.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Father,

I come this morning thanking you for just being who you are.

Thank you for not coming down to my level but raising me up to yours.  I come this morning praying for the ladies at Waco Family.  Praying that we find time to come together in prayer for our children, our church family, the different issues and insecurities we face as women.  I believe we need that connection, we need that encouragement, so please help us to find time to lift each other up. Teach us to pray, Lord. There is so much going on in the world today and your word tells us do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but encouraging one another: and so much the more as you see the day drawing near.  Your word also tells us- pray without ceasing.  Draw us nearer to you and to each other.  Open the eyes of the blind at Waco Family.  Bless our Pastor and his family.

In Jesus name I pray

Amen and Amen

Dear Lord

I come to you this morning thanking you for who you are. Thanking you for this day, I will rejoice and be glad in the day that you have made.  Thanking you Lord for your faithfulness to your servant.  Even when I fail you, you remain faithful to me.  Give me the strength and the courage and the wisdom to be what you need me to be. I have taken on the day to day raising of Jay’tun and I don’t want to fail him, so give me Godly wisdom and Godly people to help me. Watch over Robert as he does his time, I pray that no hurt, harm, or danger touches him there, but save him right where he is, for your glory Lord. I pray for Virginia Collier who’s been diagnosed with bone cancer.  Your will be done there.  I pray especially for my church family Lord, that we keep our eyes focused on you, and only you.  Merciful God be glorified thru me.  Thank you for Nick and AnnaGrace watching over Jay’tun this week.

In Jesus Name

Amen

Re: Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it

Thanks Tess for sharing your prayer. Here are some notes I made yesterday when I read Ps. 119 regarding the value of God's Word:

"Give me life according to your Word."
GOD GIVES LIFE THROUGH HIS WORD

"...strengthen me according to Your Word."
GOD GIVES STRENGTH THROUGH HIS WORD

"Put false ways far from me, and graciously teach me Your law!"
God's law is the opposite of false ways.

"Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to selfish gain!"
When my heart is inclined or leaning toward God's Word, it will be inclined away from selfish gain.

"Let Your steadfast love come to me, O Lord, Your salvation according to Your promise, then I shall have an answer for him who taunts me, for I trust in Your Word."
TRUST IN GOD'S PROMISE GIVES US AN ANSWER IN THE FACE OF PERSECUTION
   Parallel to I Peter 3:15

From Zayin Ps. 119:49-56
God's Word gives us our HOPE vs.49
His Promise gives us LIFE v.50
His "rules from of old"(i.e. His Word) bring COMFORT v.52
His statues are our SONGS v.54
We are BLESSED if we keep His precepts v.56

This is a beautiful prayer out of The Valley of Vision. I thought it went perfectly with Dave's lesson on Wednesday evening.

Thou Great Three-One,
Author of all blessings I enjoy,
of all I hope for,
Thou has taught me that
neither the experience of present evils,
nor the remembrances of former sins,
nor the remonstrances of friends,
will or can affect a sinner's heart,
except thou vouchsafe to reveal thy grace
and quicken the dead in sin
by the effectual working of thy Spirit's power.
Thou has shown me that the sensible effusions of divine love in the soul
are superior to and distinct from bodily health,
and that oft-times spiritual comforts are at their highest
when physical well-being is at its lowest.
Thou hast show me the ordinance of song as a means of grace;
Fit me to bear my part in that music ever new,
Which elect angels and saints made perfect
now sing before thy throne and before the Lamb.
I bless thee for tempering every distress with joy;
too much of the former might weight me down,
too much of the latter might puff me up;
Thou art wise to give me a taste of both.
I love thee
for giving me clusters of grapes in the wilderness,
and drops of heavenly wine
that set me longing to have my fill.
Apart from thee I quickly die,
bereft of thee I starve,
far from thee I thirst and droop;
But thou art all I need.
Let me continually grasp the promise,
'I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.'

Lord God,

I come this morning just thanking you for your grace and your mercy this morning.

thanking you for allowing me to see the beginning of a brand new day.  I will rejoice

and be glad in the day you have made.  No matter what happens today, I will trust

in you.  For I know that we see in part, but you see all, and you use all for my good.

Bless my church family, may all that we do there bring glory and honor to you.

Grant a double portion of blessings to my Pastor and his family.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Father God I love you

You are my shelter from the storm, an ever present help in my time of need, but sometimes Lord

I feel so all alone, sometimes I feel so far away from you.  Even though I know that it’s my sin

that separates us.  I miss you during those times. Forgive my sins, and resore me.  Give me the

courage to walk through the open doors you provide and the strength not to try to open doors

you’ve closed.  Be merciful to me Lord, for I am a sinner saved by your grace alon.

Amen

Father, author and finisher of my faith

I come this morning to worship and to praise you.  You had done great things for me.  When I was dead and on my way to hell you came to me and you made me alive.  And I live because of you-because of your grace. I thank you Lord.  Your word sustains me and I am kept by your grace.  I want my children to know you intimately.  To see how wonderful you are, and how wonderful it is to serve you.  Save them Lord. Bless my church family.  Teach us to pray Lord.  We need constant communication with you, daily, hourly, always. So teach us.  Bless our Words of Life weekend.  Be glorified thru Waco Family.

In Jesus precious, holy name

Amen

Father in Heaven

I come to you today thanking you for providing for me.

Father I come drawing on the strength of your word. Asking like David

that in my time of trouble, you hide me in the shadow of your pavilion.  In

the secret of your tabernacle you shall hide me, you shall set me up on a Rock.

My heart is heavy today with the burdens of this world, and only in you do

I find the courage and the strength to press on.  For as we’ve been taught it is not

Because the storm has subsided, but because You are here, in the midst of the storm.

And I thank you and I praise You today because you have not left me alone.  Bless

My church family, bless the children as they return to school.  I love you Lord.

In Jesus Precious, Holy Name

Amen

and I think I’m ready to come home to you, and morning comes and your mercies are renewed, God I thank you!

Have your way with me today. I will not be short with anyone, I will not be cruel.  Today Lord I will serve

You by serving others. Forgive my sins.  Bless my church family. Bless our prayer time today and this evening.

Bless our ice cream social, our worship time on Sunday, and our Jeffrey Place ministry.  You be lifted high, Lord.
