Dear Father,

Thank you for making me your child. Thank you for your instructing hand that keeps me from sin and always turns me back to you. Please break me; break my flesh; correct me, and mold me into a godly child of yours that reflects your son. Teach me to love you; instruct me in obedience. Put your word in my heart to teach, rebuke, and encourage me.
